Our Programs
History
KTNU was formed in 2018. After extensive research and learning about corporate universities, our KTNU General Manager proposed to our Business Unit Manager the creation of a corporate university to serve the La Porte and Baytown, Texas terminals to provide learning and development opportunities. The vision was to align KTNU goals with strategic leadership and business goals, upholding the KTN priorities of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Innovation.

KTNU Today
Learning and Development is at the heart of everything we do. At KTNU, our mission is to empower every employee to make a meaningful difference at KTN. From organizing and delivering programs for our newest cohorts, to partnering with HR at career fairs, and guiding our High Potential employees through structured training roadmaps—KTNU is actively involved every step of the way.
Today, KTNU delivers relevant and practical learning experiences to KTN employees worldwide. We are committed to continuous improvement, as demonstrated through the launch of our newest Global Business Management Program (GBMP) cohort and our Essential Skillset Program designed for leads and supervisors.
With every program we deliver, every presentation we create, and every employee we support, we are reminded of a simple truth: when one person grows, Katoen Natie grows.
To ensure the highest level of development, we have partnered with leading institutions including Antwerp Management School, the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, and Singapore Management University. These collaborations allow us to bring world-class executive education to our leaders.
